TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. No purchase is necessary. This contest is open to first-time guests of Sands Harbor 18 years of age or older. Void where prohibited by law. Limit one entry per person/e-mail address per duration of the contest. The contest begins on January 15, 2001, and ends on March 31, 2001. This special promotion does not apply to reservations made prior to January 15, 2001. Employees of Sands Harbor, their immediate family members, and all previous hotel guests are ineligible.
2. Winners will be selected weekly, based on correct answers to the contest questionnaire. Winners will be notified via e-mail. If winner is unreachable or does not respond to the congratulatory e-mail after 5 days, an alternate winner will be selected for that week.
3. To enter, complete the entry form including name, mailing address and e-mail address located at www.sandsharbor.com/contest.html. All information provided will be kept confidential.
4. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. In addition, all federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
5. The hotel stay cannot take place during blackout dates as follows: 2/1/01-3/31/01; 5/17/01-5/21/01; 5/25/01-5/29/01; 7/3/01-7/5/01; 8/31/01-9/4/01; 10/25/01-10/29/01; 11/19/01-11/25/01; 12/15/01-12/17/01; and 12/21/01-1/1/02.
6. By entering this contest, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges which will be final and binding in all respects. Sands Harbor reserves the right to disqualify an individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or website; to be acting in violation of the Terms and Conditions; or to be acting in a nonsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
7. Sands Harbor and its affiliates, subsidiaries and their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, advertising, promotion and legal advisors are not resopnsible for and shall not be liable for a) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries; b) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties; c) errors in transmission; d) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sands Harbor, which may cause the contest to be disrupted or corrupted; e) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from participation in this sweepstakes or the acceptance or use of a prize; or f) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with this contest.
8. Transfers or assignments of prize may be allowed when the request is made in writing and with full approval of the judges.
