South Florida Fair
At the South Florida Fairgrounds, 9067 Southern Blvd., 1-1/2 miles west of Florida's Turnpike. Noon-10 p.m. weekdays; 10 a.m.-10 p.m. weekends. Midway open until 2 a.m. Saturdays, until midnight other nights. Adults, $15; seniors, $9; children 6-11, $8; children under 5, free. Rides $25 for 49 coupons. $40 admission and unlimited rides for one day Monday through Friday. Free parking.

Nautical Flea Market
A fun flea market where you'll find all types of nautical gear for fishing, diving, water sports, boating, etc., plus artwork, clothing, furniture and much more. Held at Pompano Community Park: US1 and NE 6th Street.

KISS Country Chili Cookoff
C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines. Performers include: Alan Jackson, Jo Dee Messina, and others.

Florida Renaissance Festival at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach. Go back in time 500 years and cheer battling knights, applaud performers, feast on hearty foods, browse the village craft shops.

St. Coleman's 21st Annual Italian Festival
1200 S. Federal Highway, Pompano Beach. Enjoy food, rides, music and entertainment.

Annual Waterway Cleanup
Over 30 Broward locations. Volunteers and boaters needed. Join the Trash Bash at Shooters Waterfront Cafe for food, fun, drinks, entertainment and prizes! Call 1-800-BOAT-001 for information.

Ocean Fest 2006 Dive Show and Festival
(Lauderdale-by-the-Sea). Scuba and snorkel instruction, over 200 dive-related exhibits, underwater treasure hunt, underwater music festival, shore diving and over $20,000 in prizes and raffles.

Pompano Beach Seafood Festival

The Annual Pompano Beach Seafood Festival takes full advantage of Pompano's oceanfront setting and is held directly on the beach at the end of April each year. The Festival features fresh local seafood prepared in a variety of ways by area restaurants plus continuous musical entertainment, arts and crafts and a children's play area. This two-day event, which is fun for the entire family, attracts nearly 100,000 people. More than 50 charities benefit from the proceeds of the Seafood Festival.

Florida's largest music and waterfront festival, celebrating its 22nd year.

McDonald's Air & Sea Show
The annual show is one of the world's largest spectator events, drawing more than three million people over two days to a four-mile stretch of city's beach. The event is part of "A National Salute to the U.S. Military," and kicks off the USO's National Military Appreciation Month in May.

Pompano Beach Fishing Rodeo
39th Annual fishing tournament hosted by Sands Harbor. Join in the fun or watch from dock/poolside.

Pompano Beach Saltwater Slam
Fishing tournament hosted by Bluewater Movements, Inc., at Sands Harbor. First leg of 2-leg tournament with winners invited to participate in final (3rd) tournament.

Oceanwatch is holding its 15th annual Reef Sweep and Beach Cleanup from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at the beach sites and 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at marinas. Let's help keep our beaches and waterways clean! Come down to the Sands Harbor marina or the Pompano Pier to help out.

Pompano Beach Saltwater Shootout
Fishing tournament hosted by Bluewater Movements, Inc., at Sands Harbor. Second leg of 2-leg tournament with winners invited to participate in final (3rd) tournament.

Pompano Beach Saltwater Showdown Championship Event fishing tournament hosted by Bluewater Movements, Inc., at the Sands Harbor Marina. Third and final tournament for winners of the first two legs of the Saltwater Slam.

Annual Fine Food Festival and Auction
Hosted by the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce at the Crystal Lake Country Club. 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Cost per person: $65. Come and sample the finest cuisine Pompano Beach has to offer...appetizers, entrees, desserts and more.

Broward County Fair
Rides, contest, concerts and loads of fun for the whole family. Located at Pompano Park in Pompano Beach!

Annual Christmas on Las Olas
